200 Hours of Water Protection

The watertight joints, coupled with Waterblock HDF, guarantee protection against damage from mop water and spills. The melamine resin surface is inherently waterproof. While designed for enhanced resistance to water and moisture, it is advisable to avoid excessive wetting and standing water. Waterblock Wood Flooring is well-suited for rooms with high humidity but is not suitable for outdoor areas or spaces with a consistently high moisture load, such as shower cubicles, saunas, and rooms with floor drains.
Surface Embossed with Natural Wood Grain
The Natural Wood Grain (NWG) enhances the depth, texture, and lifelike appearance of Waterblock Wood Flooring. The meticulously crafted micro-bevel, embossed wood textures, and matte surface collectively evoke the perception and impression of naturally oiled wood.
This feature is applicable to 12.6mm and 8.6mm thickness variant.
Environmentally-friendly Wood Flooring

Waterblock HDF exclusively incorporates reclaimed wood, sourced from wood waste gathered during sawmill operations, forest management processes, and roadside maintenance—materials that would otherwise be burned or discarded. In our manufacturing process, we refrain from using round logs and endangered trees, opting instead to utilize wood by-products. Waterblock Wood Flooring is free from PVC, plasticisers (phthalates), heavy metals, pesticides, or other harmful additives, thereby minimizing emissions. Rest assured, Waterblock Wood Flooring boasts an outstanding environmental footprint, ensuring safety in use and offering recyclability at the conclusion of its life cycle.
Suitable for Residential and Commercial Applications
Whether for a brand-new construction project, the renovation of existing houses, or individual room makeovers, Waterblock Wood Flooring rises to any task. Beyond its easy maintenance, resistance to cigarette burns, sound-dampening qualities, and comforting warmth underfoot, it boasts an impressive longevity. The user-friendly click system facilitates installation in various spaces, including staircases, living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. Furthermore, Waterblock Wood Flooring is well-suited for areas with high humidity.
Waterblock Wood Flooring is a fitting choice for shop and exhibition construction, whether you need flooring for a uniquely designed store, an exhibition booth, or a temporary shop-in-shop setup. Rapid installations for temporary structures are facilitated by the cost-effective floating installation method, eliminating the need for time-consuming preparatory work. With the addition of underlay, Waterblock Wood Flooring becomes robust, capable of easily bearing heavy loads, and serves to protect the subfloor. Its versatility extends to a variety of areas, including cashier zones, entrances and exits, walkways, changing rooms, storage and social spaces, offices, and emergency escape routes.
This feature is applicable to 12.6mm and 8.6mm thickness variant.
Easy Cleaning

Utilizing hydrophobic technology, Waterblock Wood Flooring prevents water, wine, paint droplets, and more from being absorbed, facilitating effortless maintenance and cleaning. The sealed surface, coupled with the appropriate cleaning method involving a mop and cleaning product, ensures the thorough elimination of all dust, including fine dust. Thanks to the waterproof coreboard, incidents like a spilled glass of water are not a cause for concern; however, it is advisable to promptly address any standing moisture. Waterblock Wood Flooring is easily cleaned with a damp mop or steam cleaner (household appliance). Notably, it eliminates the need for time-consuming oiling or sealing treatments, and its color remains unfaded even in direct sunlight.
Pet-friendly

Waterblock Wood Flooring is resilient against the impact of pets; however, in the event of a pet “accident,” prompt cleanup is recommended. The surface is fortified with an exceptionally durable layer, offering micro-scratch protection against scratches from pets, skateboards, and marks caused by dragging desks and chairs, among other potential sources of abrasion.
Melamine Resin Overlay
The overlay on Waterblock Wood Flooring is a clear film infused with melamine and phenol resins, providing increased durability to safeguard the underlying decor paper from mechanical forces. This protective top layer ensures the flooring’s resistance to stains, wear, impact, scratches, burns, and household chemicals. The lightfast surface maintains stability over the course of many years.
Natural Wood Grain
The surface features the tactile sensation of fine wood grain, which is incorporated through the application of digital scans derived from wood veneer.
Embossed Surface
By coordinating the embossing of the wood grain with the decorative design, the surface texture of Waterblock Wood Flooring corresponds seamlessly to the printed decorative layer. Running your fingers over the surface allows you to experience the texture of wood pores, filled knots, and cracks, akin to the tactile sensation of real wood flooring, such as parquet.
This feature is applicable to 12.6mm and 8.6mm thickness variant.
Abrasion-resistant
With an AC3 rating, Waterblock Wood Flooring is well-suited for high-traffic residential areas like kitchens and entrance halls, as well as low-traffic commercial spaces such as hotel rooms and small offices.
Stain-resistant
Waterblock Wood Flooring is resistant to staining, and even furniture or chair castors won’t leave any marks. Thanks to its tightly sealed surface, the floor is easily cleaned, preventing dirt from adhering. Any stains, whether in the kitchen or elsewhere, can be effortlessly removed from the planks using acetone, thinner, or alcohol.
Anti-slip
The textures on the floorboards enhance stability and decrease the risk of slips and falls. The anti-slip properties guarantee a comfortable walking experience in all rooms.
Decorative Paper
The term “decor” characterizes the visual aspect of a floor’s surface. The reproduction of wood surface is achieved by printing on the decorative paper through digital imaging techniques.
Fade-resistant
The decorative paper remains resistant to fading, thanks to an overlay with an aluminum oxide coating. This coating effectively prevents fading caused by exposure to a light to moderate amount of sunlight.
Coreboard
At the core of Waterblock Wood Flooring lies the High-Density Fibreboard (HDF), serving as the foundational element that imparts stability to the product. Comprising densely compressed wood fibers, HDF contains the highest proportion of wood in the composition. This material enhances plank stability and facilitates the precise manufacturing of the click profile. With twice the density of softwood, HDF exhibits increased resistance to wear and tear. Not only does the coreboard contribute to durability, but it also reflects environmental responsibility by incorporating wood by-products that would otherwise be disposed of through burning or landfills.
Waterblock HDF
The coreboard is composed of a blend of compressed wood fibers and hydrophobic materials. It has been tested by Entwicklungs- und Prüflabor Holztechnologie GmbH (EPH) and demonstrated the ability to endure immersion in water for 200 hours with minimal thickness swelling.
Waterproof
Crafted from a waterproof composite material, the coreboard exhibits notable hardness, density, and minimal susceptibility to swelling when exposed to moisture. Its elevated moisture resistance safeguards the joints against swelling. Furthermore, each of the four sides of the Waterblock Wood Flooring planks is treated with a water-repellent agent, a blend of paraffin and impregnating oil, applied through a vacuum nozzle-powered injection system. This meticulous process ensures comprehensive protection against moisture for the edges of the planks.
Micro-bevel
Utilizing the Micro-E technology, the coreboard undergoes deformation to replicate the intricate features of scraped wood, including cracks, gaps, and bevelled edges reminiscent of solid wood planks. This technology precisely crafts a micro-bevel (30-45°) along the floorboard’s edge, eliminating sharp edges. Flooring with these micro-bevels offers a more aesthetically pleasing appearance compared to those with square edges.
Backing Layer
The waterproof melamine resin backing layer serves to stabilize the product and offers exceptional dimensional stability. This layer guarantees that the floor, when correctly installed and maintained, will remain free from cupping or bowing.
